Wisconsin Complaint by applicant Crespo

ASPPB is aware of and is monitoring a document dated March 18, 2016 that has been circulated through multiple social media sources.  The document appears to be a “complaint” addressed to the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services and seeks to stimulate the promulgation of an emergency rule related to licensure eligibility criteria.  It is unknown if this complaint has actually been filed with the Department.  In this document, there are allegations of collusion between the ASPPB and the Wisconsin Psychology Examining Board related to licensure eligibility criteria.  To the extent that this document needs a response, ASPPB denies any such allegations and will continue to monitor this situation.  In the meantime, should any ASPPB member boards have questions, please contact Alex Siegel (, PhD, JD, ASPPB Director of Professional Affairs, or Carol Webb (, PhD, ABPP, ASPPB Chief Operating Officer.
